I am really excited to begin this blogging adventure and to have a new faucet to expresss my creativity and share moments with my family. This started out as an idea to fulfill a class assignment of journaling but has become much more.
I find as I go through my day I am journaling ideas, recipes (I'm still learning these skills), Bible verses, and things related to work but they were just staying in my little purple book. If you don't know me you can understand me in a few words: energetic, complicated, loving, and busy. I'm a handful but Jared loves me anyways.
I love to stay busy with family, church, work, friends, and projects. Oh how I love projects!! I have this idea that at least 90% of the decorations in our home will be DIY or family-made work. How cool would that be?
My husband, Jared, and I are in the process of buying a small plot of land this week and hope to start building within 8 months. Before we move in I want to redo our table, refinish some furniture, make curtains, make artwork for the house and make crafts for all of our friends upcoming babies!
I think it is going to be a lot of work but I know it's going to be a lot of fun.
This blog comes as life is opening up a new chapter for our little family and I can't wait to see where it leads. Stay tuned!
